(A) For advertisers, there are three good reasons to target schoolchildren, Firstly they have money to spend. Lots of companies provide schools with computer equipment in exchange for vouchers which are collected by the students. For example ,company Be sport LTD, supplies free sports kits to schools which have the names of sponsors on the shorts and shirts. (D) However many people are unhappy about growing influence of big business in education. Schools should encourage free thinking but the goal of advertising is ti influence children’s thoughts in a particular direction. They argue that vending machines promote unhealthy food and drink in a time when obesity in young people is a serious problem.
