British weather

Most people think that in Britain it rains all the time. But that is not true. It rains just as much in many other European countries as it does in Britain. In fact, Hamburg in Germany gets more rain than London. November and December are the wettest months. But the British weather is difficult to predict. It’s so changeable. In the morning it can be cold and rainy but in the afternoon the can shine brightly. That is why British people always carry an umbrella. Sometimes it rains during the summer. In winter it often snows too, but it doesn’t usually last very long. Britain is warmer than other northern countries because of the warm air that comes from the Atlantic Ocean.
