Seasons
There are four seasons in a year . They are: winter, spring, summer and autumn. Each season has its weather. (A) In autumn the weather is chilly. It is the time of harvest. Fruits and vegetable are ripe. Leaves are red, yellow and brown and they fall from the trees. School begins in autumn too. (B) In winter it is cold and frosty. It always snows. People and children like to ski, skate, build snowmen. Many people enjoy staying at home. But we have Christmas, New Year’s Day and other holidays in winter. (C) It is warm and sunny in spring. It rains a lot. It can be windy too. The trees are beautiful and flowers bloom. People like to go for a walk or play sports. (D) It is very hot in summer. The weather is fine and sunny.There are lots of thunderstorms. People like to go fishing, swimming and camping.
