People use various means of transport to get from one place to another. In the old days people had to travel several days, weeks and months . They went on foot, by coaches, drove by horses or by boats and ships. But now trains, trams, cars, buses, airplanes, underground are modren means of transport. Many people like to travel by air as it is the fastest way of travelling. A lot of people like to travel by train because they can look at forests and fields through windows. Some people like to travel by car. They can stop when and where they want. In big cities people use various means of transport. For example, Londoners use the underground railway. They call it 'the tube'. Londoners use buses too. London's buses are double-decked buses. Londoners do not use trams.
