The May Day festival

dropdown I will never forget the May Day Festival. On the first of May, everyone in our village celebrates the start of spring with dancing, food and fun. dropdown One of the things I like best ,is maypole dance. The children from my school made a circle around maypole. We covered the pole with pretty ribbons as we danced around it. dropdown After dancing we always had delicious food. There was a huge buffet in the village hall with mountains of sandwiches, cakes and biscuits. At the end of the day, there is never any food left, because we are always hungry after all dancing and party games. But today, not many villages celebrate May Day in the traditional way. But I always have a great time there. I feel happy when I remember that.
